SUNDAY ON THE BEACH

Close to Torio there were at least 200 peple on the beach
We had to cross the Torio river to get back to Malena.
After a swim and a shower under the falls we walked further and took shelter from the sun. Matt had to go back, he left his runners at the small pools close to the falls. That was a distance of 2 kilometers.
There were about 20 people in the pools but the runners were still there.

Thelma and the kitchencrew in Torio

Sunday at Torio beach, well you don't see the beach which was to the left, but half of the people were in the Rio Torio, which we had to cross to walk further back to Playa Malena.

Visitor on our toiletseat in the Rancho, so cute much better than the other day when their was a Tiger red snake in the bathroom.
I quick turned around, got my camera but it was so fast out of there! It was at least 2 and a half meter long.

Don`t no which picture is a better of the 4 Abuelos, with flash or without. Sure was a late night!

Pedro, the turkey(pavo) in front of the Ludwig`s restaurant in Torio.

Driftwood on the beach. We went back with Loes her car to get it, but it was high tide.
We have to come back!

Malena beach, they were playing volleyball.

Ylang ylang or  Cananga it smells wonderfull, one of the many ingredients in most perfums.

Visitor on my Birkenstock while having coffee in the Rancho. It`s a Malachite butterfly!

This is the amazing decorative waterspout system I ever saw. At night we got seranades of the Tugara frogs

The last bus back from Malena to Mariato leaves at 4.30 but we got a ride from a farmer. He had to be at the farm opposite from Loes/Hotel Heliconia.
